Culture Hub Bulgaria’s Final Partners Meeting in Braila, Romania
Culture Hub Bulgaria is excited to announce the culmination of our NFT project, which aims to empower artists through technology for copyright protection and monetization of their work. Supported by our esteemed partners, INNETICA Spain and CREATOR Romania, we are developing open educational resources and guidelines that leverage NFTs and other technologies to safeguard artists’ intellectual property.
Our final partners meeting is set in the picturesque city of Braila, Romania, on 11 July 2024, where we are finalizing the project’s milestones and plan the forthcoming activities. Here’s a glimpse into the agenda and the presentations that guided our discussions:

Presentation Highlights
Project Results and Feedback
- Questionnaires & Analysis: Completed and ready for upload to the Competence Hub website by the end of August.
- Desk Research: Completed and to be uploaded by the end of August.
- Guidelines and Recommendations: Currently under development. CREATOR and INNETICA will provide feedback and translations. Final recommendations, translations and uploads are due by the end of September.
- Written OERs and Video Tutorials: Five OERs and five video tutorials are ready, with five more of each to come by the end of September. Subtitles will be provided in local languages.
- Competence Hub Website: Under development, expected completion by the end of September.
Key Findings from Questionnaires
- Over 80% of respondents lack skills and knowledge in NFTs marketplaces and related technologies.
- More than 60% are unaware of technological tools for copyright protection, including metadata NFTs.
- Many respondents do not actively use online marketing tools to promote their artistic works.
- A significant number are unaware of the risks of digital asset theft.
Recommendations
- Training and Awareness: Develop online courses, workshops, and collaborations with educational institutions.
- Educational Resources: Focus on copyrights and taxation of digital asset sales.
- Cross-border Collaborations: Engage in partnership programs, cultural exchanges, and research projects.

We are eager to advance our project’s goals with the input and collaboration of our partners. The upcoming months are critical as we finalize the open educational resources and prepare for our planned events, including the LTT scheduled for November 4-6, 2024, in Sofia, Bulgaria.
