On December 10, 2023, the partners of the Ukraine is in Europe: Solidarity with Ukrainian Youth Artists project came together for a productive online meeting. The meeting focused on two major aspects of the project: the development of the online platform UkraineYouth.eu and the progress on creating videos showcasing personal stories from the project’s target groups.
One of the most significant outcomes of the meeting was the approval of the initial draft of the online platform UkraineYouth.eu. This platform will serve as a hub to connect, support, and promote young Ukrainian artists across Europe. The platform’s structure and design were well-received by all partner organizations, and the next steps will focus on incorporating more content. Partners will provide country-specific information, blog posts, and resources to ensure the platform offers valuable, localized support to the target audience.
The meeting also covered the progress of video production, which aims to share the personal stories of young Ukrainian artists affected by the war. While the overall shooting process is moving forward, the Spanish partners reported some challenges in finding suitable participants for their videos. Nevertheless, they remain optimistic about meeting their targets and will continue their efforts to gather inspiring stories from young artists.
An open discussion among the partners emphasized the need for additional content on the platform. It was decided that each partner will gather and contribute essential information, including:
– Country-specific resources to assist Ukrainian youth in different regions.
– Blog posts with personal insights from the artists themselves.
– Useful links and tools to support the artistic and cultural development of displaced youth.
The meeting concluded with all partners agreeing on the next steps. By the end of December 2023, each partner will submit blog posts, country-specific data, and other relevant resources to enrich the platform. The team plans to reconvene in March 2024 to review progress on both the platform development and the video shooting process.
With the collective commitment of all partners, the Ukraine is in Europe project is well on its way to creating a lasting impact on the lives of young Ukrainian artists.
