About the project

The project’s objective is to enhance skills and support contractors in leveraging digital tools for asset creation, online content monetization, and intellectual property protection. This will be achieved through the following:

  1. Sharing best practices and competencies to acquire knowledge that will enhance the overall positioning of contractors.
  2. Establishing a Center for digital transformation competencies to provide guidance on revenue opportunities for contractors.

By empowering independent artists with digital tools for asset creation, the project aims to facilitate the distribution and sale of content to curators, labels, independent radio stations, and other media outlets. Key project activities include:

  • Familiarizing artists with digital platforms and diverse online publishing options to effectively promote their creative content.
  • Sharing best practices and expertise on how to monetize content and generate sustainable income in the digital world. The competence center will offer knowledge to the project team, its members, and professional networks.

Additionally, the exchange activities conducted throughout the project will strengthen the organizational and professional capacity of partner organizations. This will streamline and enhance the availability of fragmented content currently spread across various locations and sites. The project will create opportunities to establish a knowledge center where knowledge and skills can be acquired and transferred.

The successful implementation of the project will directly impact the industry, which is expected to experience a 30% reduction in its current workforce by the end of 2022. This decline is attributed to the unprecedented strain caused by the pandemic and the rapid digitization of music content, along with the war in Ukraine.
